Hi, I’m Fadoua—founder of Morocco Travel Planner and a proud Moroccan woman passionate about sharing my country through a local’s eyes. If you’ve been dreaming of discovering Morocco but only have a week to spare, I’ve got you covered. This 7 day Morocco private tour is one of my favorite ways to introduce travelers to the heart, soul, and spirit of my country—without the rush, but full of unforgettable experiences.
Why Choose a 7 Day Morocco Private Tour?
Whether you’re a couple on a romantic getaway, a group of friends, or a solo traveler wanting to explore safely and meaningfully, a private tour allows you to travel on your terms. You won’t be stuck on a bus or checking boxes on a fixed itinerary. Instead, we design the trip around your pace, interests, and comfort.
Think of this week as a highlights reel of Morocco—Marrakech’s energy, the silence of the Sahara, winding alleys in Fes, and the warmth of Berber hospitality in the Atlas Mountains.
A Taste of the Itinerary
Every tour is tailored, but here’s what a 7-day Morocco private tour might look like:
Day 1 – Welcome to Casablanca or Marrakech
We’ll greet you at the airport and begin the journey with a relaxed afternoon. Depending on your arrival city, you might visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque or enjoy a welcome dinner in a cozy riad tucked away in a historic medina.
Day 2 – Into the Imperial City of Fes
Step back in time as we explore Fes, one of the oldest cities in the world. I’ll connect you with a passionate local guide who’ll walk you through ancient alleyways, artisan quarters, and the famous tanneries. Expect mint tea, hidden courtyards, and rich culture at every turn.
Day 3 – Scenic Drive through the Middle Atlas
This is one of my favorite days. We travel through cedar forests, pass monkey-filled woodlands near Azrou, and reach the edge of the desert. The landscapes shift dramatically—from alpine to arid—and it’s the perfect time to soak in Morocco’s diversity.
Day 4 – Desert Magic in Merzouga
Camel rides at sunset, golden dunes stretching to the horizon, and sleeping under the stars in a desert camp. It’s hard to put this day into words—it’s always the part that stays with people the longest.
Day 5 – Todra Gorges & Dades Valley
We swap sand for stone as we explore dramatic canyons, Berber villages, and the lush valleys of southern Morocco. The hospitality here is next-level—you might even get to taste a fig lamb tagine made by one of my favorite host mamas!
Day 6 – Ait Benhaddou & Into Marrakech
Visit the famous UNESCO-listed kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, then cross the High Atlas Mountains into the lively rhythms of Marrakech. The contrast is beautiful—ancient mudbrick fortresses to rooftop lounges in the medina.
Day 7 – Explore the Red City
Your final day is all about Marrakech. You’ll see snake charmers and storytellers in Jemaa el-Fna, visit beautiful palaces, and find treasures in the souks. I always recommend ending the day with a hammam or a farewell dinner under lantern light.
Personal Touch & Local Insight
What makes this trip different? It’s not just the places—it’s the people. We work with local families, artisans, and guides I’ve known for years. You’ll feel welcomed, not just as a traveler, but as a guest.
I personally oversee every detail of your tour—from accommodations to timing—so you’re free to simply enjoy.
