DAY 1 – 29 Apr Marrakech Arrival
Airport transfer to the hotel Depending on your flights time, Check in your Riad in Marrakech
DAY 2 Explore Marrakech
Welcome to Marrakech or “the red city ” situated near the foothills of the snow-capped Atlas Mountain. In Marrakech, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East mingle and merge into two parts. One is the old town called “medina” which you will visit with your local guide to see the interesting monuments of the city like the Koutoubia Mosque, Palace, and the famous square Jama lfna. The other part is the new modern town built during the French occupation
DAY 3 – Marrakech – Kasbah Aitbenhaddou – Rose valley
After Breakfast, we will head to the UNESCO site, kasbah Aitbenhaddou where you will have a walking tour inside the fortified village, after we will continue to the Rose Valley passing by Skoura, dinner in your guesthouse in rose valley.
DAY 4 – Trekking Day Rose Valley
Today, we will enjoy a full day in the valley of roses, with mule support,walking through ancient villages following the river,enjoy the day discovering the magnificent villages and gardens of Mgoun valley. Overnight in the guest house.
Rose Valley – Todra Valley – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast we will start our day to Merzouga. on the way we will stop to visit the Todra valley and have lunch before we continue to the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet then from a vast plateau you will see the impressive sand dunes of Merzouga appearing from the horizon. Ride a camel to explore inside the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi which is one of the most fascinating sights you will ever see. Spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.
DAY 6 – 4 May Merzouga – Fes
Before sunrise, wake up to climb the sand dunes for fantastic photo opportunities. have breakfast in the desert camp before setting off for Fez. En route we will pass through Erfoud, the Zizz Palm Valley, Meditlt, the cedar forests and macaque monkeys of Azrou, and Ifrane, before arriving to your hotel in Fez.
DAY 7 – 5 May Explore Fes
After breakfast you will have a sightseeing tour where you can walk through high walled streets, watch the daily procession of mourners entering the tomb of Fez’s founder Moulay Idriss II. The medina of Fez was Founded in the 9th century and is home to the oldest university in the world. Fez is the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. Spend the day exploring the old city, visiting Mederassa Bou Inania, the tanneries and the splendid Funduk Nejjarine, a beautifully restored 18th century inn.
DAY 8 – Fes – Chefchaouen
After Breakfast start driving towards the blue city chefchaouen passing by Rif Mountains . Arrive to your hotel check in and enjoy your free time exploring the town blue streets.
DAY 9 – 7 May Chefchaouen – Rabat
enjoy your morning in chefhaouen before heading to the capital Rabat where you will spend the night .
DAY 10 – 8 May Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech
After Breakfast visit the splendid Hassan II Mosque: a breathtaking landmark of Casablanca with the tallest minaret at 210 meters, after visiting the mosque drive to Marrakech to spend the night.
DAY 11 – DAY TRIP OR OVERNIGHT IN ESSAOUIRA
After breakfast we drive to Essaouira, visit an argan oil women cooperative where you learn about how argan oil is extracted by hand. After arriving at Essaouira check in to your hotel and explore the medina with its vibrant streets, and enjoy relaxing time by the atlantic ocean.
DAY 12 – 10 May Marrakech – Departure
According to your flight details we pick you up from your Riad to Marrakech Airport.
